When More Information Becomes the Barrier
We are living in one of the most information-saturated times in history. Advice, opinions, and recommendations come at us from every direction at lightning speed. Just when we think we've heard, understood, and embodied one idea, another arrives, bringing confusion and doubt.
Recently, I found myself stuck - not moving forward because I wasn't sure which direction was the right one. Then I noticed something. That state of inaction had become almost comfortable. I had convinced myself I was simply taking the time to gather more information, understand it fully, and move with caution and care.
But in all the learning, comparing, and contrasting, I had silenced my own voice. I stopped listening to my intuition and trusting what felt right for me.
This is the barrier we're exploring all month inside the MBDY Social and Movement Club: the quiet barriers. The ones that live in our minds, our subconscious, and the stories we inherited long before we were old enough to question them.
My approach to wellness has always been that less is more. I believe we can overthink, overplan, and over-optimize ourselves into procrastination. Most of us don't need more information. We need one small, honest, well-supported step in the right direction - and someone to walk alongside us as we take it.
That's what MBDY is all about. Through our classes, private sessions, and weekly member emails every Sunday, we're creating space for meaningful movement, honest reflection, and lasting change.
If you've been thinking about joining the membership, this is a wonderful month to begin. Together, we'll explore meaningful topics, ask better questions, and take practical steps toward living with greater intention. You can find all the details and sign up HERE.
With love and gratitude,
