A Life That Actually Feels Like Yours
June arrived fast. I have spent the past two months turned inward, and that time gave me space to work through a practice I want to share with you.
Just a few steps, a moment to pause, breathe, and ask yourself what is truly worth your focus and energy.
What do I value?
Not what looks good from the outside. Not what is currently splashed across your social media feed. What genuinely, deeply matters to you.
Itβs simple but not easy and there can be a real, quiet fear around speaking our true intentions. It is easy to get swept up in the latest wellness trends, and it takes courage to stand firm and say, "This is what I value, and this is where I choose to place my attention."
But here is what I know, you already have the answers. You do not need to look outside yourself for a road map. To design your life, you first have to identify your core values and be willing to live by them. When you do, you build a powerful identity. That identity creates predictable, healthy behaviors naturally, without the daily mental fatigue of deciding over and over again.
That is why the first step in my Seven-Day Reset is not to do anything differently. It is simply to notice.
Once you know what you value, you have a filter. A steady way to evaluate what you are thinking, doing, and feeling against something true. If a choice aligns with your values, it is worth your energy. If it does not, that is simply information for you to use.
This is how fulfillment actually works. Not by adding more, but by getting honest about what is already there, paring down, and doing only what supports your truth. It applies to your body, your relationships, your work, and the quiet moments you spend alone.
One breath. One question. Does this align with what I value?
That is the whole practice.
Here's to a June that actually feels like yours. And a return to MBDY.
With love and gratitude,
Elease
